I love the few weeks leading up to Christmas! Each year we do an advent calendar filled with different activities: yule log, swimming pool, nighttime walks, Christmas lights. The boys look forward to seeing what the activity is and to doing something a little out of the ordinary. Here's some pics of our evening spent making (and eating!) gingerbread houses. I'm so glad these things come in easy-to-use pre-made packs!!!
