We went to the Transportation Museum's "Candy Cane Express" weekend earlier this month. It was great! In addition to the regular exhibits, they had train rides, Santa, crafts, and showed the Polar Express. We will definitely be doing this one again next year.
The boys waited (somewhat) patiently for the train ride.
This was by far the best part of the day. We got to ride up top in the caboose. Ben was so excited!
Owen was eager to sit on Santa's lap. Ben wanted nothing to do with it, but Owen was nice enough to ask for toys for his little brother too. On the list was a MTT troop transport, trucks and trains for Ben, and a new couch and fridge for Mom. :)
The model trains and locomotive cab have continued to be favorites.
We also got to spend some time on the playground. There were a ton of other kids Owen's age and the weather was warm enough to stay out for quite a while.
